Summer carrot 'Napoli F1'

Summer carrot 'Napoli F1' is ideally suited for the earliest cultivation. Slightly conical root with good colour. Productive variety with strong foliage. Nantes type.

This hybrid variety has been developed for professional cultivation; the variety is more uniform than other open-pollinated varieties in our range, and the variety is more resistant to a number of diseases.

Sow outdoors from March to June for a harvest from July to October. Harvesting later is also possible, remove the leaves and cover with a layer of straw. Sow in rows of 15-20 cm, and 2-3 cm in row. With a larger row spacing and sowing distance in the row, the root also becomes larger and coarser. If necessary, sow at 1 cm, then thin out at 2-3 cm. Provide sufficient moisture during germination. On heavier soil types (clay) it is wise to make ridges and sow the roots here, so that they will more easily make beautiful straight roots.

These seeds have an organic certified coating which makes sowing easier.
