4. Spreading: Start walking at a steady, calm pace and only open the lever once moving. This prevents a heap of product at your starting point.

5. Pattern: Walk in straight lines across your lawn or garden, ensuring a slight overlap for even coverage.

6. Maintenance: Empty and dry the hopper after use to prevent any residue from clumping due to moisture.
