Salsify 'VRN-Enorma' has a long root with a dark brown skin. Grow in a deeply loosened, homogeneous soil. It is better not to transplant salsify. Remove skin with peeler or scrape after short cooking.
Sow from mid-April to mid-May at a row spacing of 25 cm, sowing earlier will give shooters. Thin out in the row at 10 cm, do not transplant. The harvest is hardy during autumn and winter. Do not fertilize.

How to use it
