Black radish 'Ronde Zwarte' is very suitable as raw food for autumn and winter. This crop grows on any type of soil. Fertilize little. Pull off before winter, remove leaves and store frost-free in sand. This variety is less affected by maggots from the cabbage fly than the summer radish.

Sow from June to early August; row spacing 40 cm and thinning at 15 cm.

5 g of ‘Ronde Zwarte’ black radish seeds, approximately 100 seeds per gram.

How to use it

Sow June–early August at 40 × 15 cm with little fertiliser. Harvest September–November; lift before winter, remove foliage and store frost-free in sand.
