Lava Grit – approx. 1000 kg Big Bag on pallet

This Big Bag contains approximately 1000 kg of lava grit and is delivered on a pallet.

Delivery & transport

Delivery is handled via DHL pallet transport between 08:00 and 18:00. Unfortunately, a specific time slot cannot always be guaranteed.
If you are not present, you may leave a note on the door with brief delivery instructions.

The pallet is delivered using a pallet truck, allowing placement on a paved surface at the desired location.

If you do not have a suitable address, paved surface, or wish to be contacted by phone prior to delivery, we can arrange special transport. The additional cost is €50. Please contact us to discuss the options.

During checkout, you can indicate your preferred delivery day in the customer note field.

Product description

Lava grit has the same properties and composition as lava meal from Eifelgold and Franky’s Flora, with the difference that the particle size ranges from 0 to 4 mm.

Part of the lava is quickly absorbed by the soil, while the larger particles release minerals gradually over several years. Ideal for:

• Planting trees and shrubs

• Establishing a new lawn

• Long-term soil improvement and drainage

Lava grit with trace elements and minerals, with the same composition as the referenced Eifelgold and Franky’s Flora lava meal.

• Use all year round in vegetable gardens, lawns, ornamental gardens or for potted plants.
• Preferably spread it on a day that is not too sunny and thoroughly water the soil afterwards.
• Suitable for planting trees and shrubs, establishing a new lawn, and improving soil structure and drainage.
• Can be applied at the same time as worm castings.
