Kohlrabi 'Delikatess Blauwe' (Brassica oleracea) produces beautiful blue-purple tubers with white flesh. Cooked and raw, very tasty. Fast growing crop. Do not let the knots get too old or too big, if you want them to become woody at the bottom. They can be eaten raw or cooked.
Transplanting should always be done at a young stage. Because kohlrabi is not very superficial for bolting, sowing can be done quite early. Pre-sow under glass from March, plant out from April at a planting distance of 30x30 cm. Fertilize well.
